Administrative accountability is a system that investigates the responsibility which the government should bear. According to the subject, it can be divided into coessential accountability and variant accountability. The content of accountability includes political responsibility, legal liability, administrative responsibility and moral responsibility. The establishment of administrative accountability is of vital significance for standardizing government's behavior and perfecting accountable government. Since the implementation of accountability, though some positive exploration had been executed at different level of governments, there are still many shortcomings in practice. In order to improve such situation, it is necessary for our country to explore a suitable development path of administrative accountability. Base on the changing of traditional bureaucratism, it is significant to mold the culture of administrative accountability. It is important to strengthen the process construction of administrative accountability and variant accountability. It is necessary to perfect the necessaries of administrative accountability. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate above questions, and hopes this research will be beneficial for Chinese establishment of administrative accountability.
