As one of the most important part of The New Curriculum Reform,the evaluation reform-emphasizes that it will establish a developing students' evaluation system aiming at "all for development of students.for the development of all students,for developing all sides of students,focusing on the development of students."Along with the development and extension of the New Curriculum Reform, the developing students' evaluation is coming from urban to rural,from the theory to practice.Student evaluation is the evaluation about the changes and progress of student in the process of learning. There are a lot of problems of the traditional student evaluation in terms of evaluation's evalutor, method,standard,function, and so on. In january 2006,the state council issued and implimented the《The Outlines of The Currilum Reform in Basic Education(Draft)》.It advances many requirements to the curriculum reform,"change the traditional evaluation which stress too much on selection,promote the development of the students,teachers and teaching".Developmental student evaluation has been known and uesd by more researchers and teachers.The idea of delelopmental student evaluation aims at promating the development and advancement of the students.The evaluation content contains the students's cores and the development of the qualities and abilities of students.The main evalutor is diversified. Besides of tests, the evaluation method contains observation and portfolio.and so on.It not only cares about the results of learning,but also emphasizes the process of learning.Carrying out developmental student evaluation in rural middle school agrees with the requirements of the new curriculum reform.and it will really promote the development of students.Now what is the actual situation of the implement of developmental student evaluation,what advancement we have gained and what problem need to be solved.For the sake of knowing more about these questions,the writer of the article made an investigation based on the method.standard,function, idea,subject, content of evaluation about two senior middle school in Chaohu.From arrangement and theysis of the data.we found that there are some problems:1. The idea of evaluation changed observably.But it didn't achieve the requirements of the new curriculum reform.2.It began to attach importance to the contents of the diversity of opinion and pay close attention to non-study evaluation.And evaluation criterias were still single.3.The method of evaluation is flexible,but need to improve implementation.4.The evaluator changed significantly.5.The purposes and functions of evaluation began to transform into promoting and encouraging students development.To deal with these problems,the writer comes up with some advices:I.To strengthen teacher training and cooperation with the rural high school to university,and improve teachers'knowledge and understanding of developmental student evalution.2.To pinpoint the connotation of feelings, attitudes and values.3.To combine quantitative evaluation with qualitative evaluation,improve the function of portfolio,and promote students'all-round development.4.To deepen the comprehension of the subject's diversity and provide guidance of evaluation to students and parents.5.To strengthen the incentive function of evaluation and pay attention to directivity and practicality of the motivation.
