y empirical research method, the present thesis makes an exploration on the training methods and measures for middle and long distance teenage runners who belong to permanent high altitude native. It takes those middle and long distance runners aged between12to16as research targets who come from key amateur sports school in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the second largest Tibetan area in China. Based on the three core tasks:solid foundation, great performance and high quality and quantity of sports events, the thesis proposes the training phisolophy of "taking stamina as the basis and paying attention to diversity of training pattern; taking quality as core and focusing on the innovation of movement means; speed contributes to special events and laying emphasis on the improvement of skill and ability". After the experimentation of26weeks’winter training, the thesis finds out six sets of special drill and diversified physical training methods and measures which well fit middle and long distance teenage runners in Ganzi amateur sports school. Finally it draws the following conclusions:1.Middle and long distance teenage runners in Ganzi amateur sports school have good stamina and strong will power. By the change of training philosophy and the reselection and combination of training methods and training measures,15out of19teenage athletes engaged in winter training have achieved great performance in special events, which proves that Tibetan teenagers living in plateau have larger developing space on stamina events.2. More attention should be paid on teenage athletes’physical training, which will contribute to balanced development of their athletic ability and the improvement of their special events performance.3. The training of different speed on middle and long distance runners in Ganzi amateur sports school has a positive effect on their special events performance, especially on middle and short distance sports events atheletes. However, the working mechanism needs to be futher proved.4.Winter training adopts the training method of consecutive training between plateau and plain. It can improve the training load of middle and long distance runners in Ganzi amateur sports school with abundant training time and integrated training methods. It can be concluded from the special test during plain training period that the athletes’special performance comes to its first peak after three to four weeks off the plateau.5.The formation of good training habits and the cultivation of sense of group honor can promote the atheletes’comprehensive qualities and contribute to their taking of stamina events.
