The Ministry of education put forward a new plan for education reform and development in2010, which includes new rules for the homework. At present, due to the impact of self and theexternal factors of junior school students, homework is consider as a burden by lots of students butplaying its due role.How should junior school students adjust their own learning, how to reduce thenegative factors of the junior high school students to promote the homework function,and how tocomplete the work efficiently and achieving development, are our concern.In this study, some junior high school students four district of Anshan city are chosen as theresearch object, the method of questionnaire, interview are used to analyse the present situation ofjunior high school students with math homework, so that the existing problems are found out andcorresponding countermeasures are put forward. The aim is to make students aware of mathhomework help early in the the problem, to improve the learning interest, work efficiency andquality, to reduce the burden, and to provide the basis and suggestions for teachers to designhomework and homework completion status.This study is divided into three parts:The first part mainly introduces the background of the topic, and organize research onhomework systematically, find the starting point of this study, put forward the purpose, significanceof the research and theory evidence.On this basis, defines the core concepts, then determine theresearch method of this study adopted.The second part is investigation according to current situation of junior high school studentswith math homework, investigation contents include5parts: junior high school students’understanding of math homework; content of junior high school students’ math homework; habits ofmath homework of junior high school students;effect of math homework;evaluation of mathhomework of junior high students. Through the collation and analysis of survey data, the mainproblems of junior high school students with math homework is summarized: there is little interestin mathematics homework of junior high school students, layout of junior high school studentshomework extra-curricular math is unreasonable, habits of junior middle school students doinghomework is unproperly, participation of teachers and parents is not enough, many teacherscorrecting the need to improve the level of junior middle school students.The third part is the survey results according to the second part, using the relevant theory toanalyse, students, teachers, parents from junior middle school, put forward the improvement methodof junior middle school students’ homework situation.The advice for the junior high school studentsis: cultivate interest in learning, improve the operation knowledge; form a good habit of learningmathematics, choose the scientific method to do the homework; communicate with teachers andparents. Suggestions for teachers are: improve homework level; homework comment role play;multiple communication with students and encourage. The advice for the parents: pay attention tothe students’ homework; to create a good learning atmosphere; communicate with teachers and students. The advice for school is: changing the idea of education; education for teacher autonomyspace; education for students.
