In order to provide social work services for the goal of promoting the floating population’s well-being, it is a necessity for us to study the floating population as a special object, This paper mainly carries on the quantitative analysis using dynamic monitoring data of floating population in Shanghai city. Based on the summary of the floating population living conditions and the basic experience of life, we can focus the influence factors of floating population’s happiness through the analysis of multiple regression on their family life, Thus puts forward social work countermeasures to enhance floating population living happiness. In this study, marriage, housing properties, whether family migration, social relations of a family and social participation of family members have a significant influence on floating population. Married floating people are more happy; Compare to floating population living in their own room, those who living in rental house, the workplace or others are more unhappy. Relative to living alone or living with others, floating population of family migration can experience more happiness. Relationship with the local people more closely.floating population is more happy. Social participation of the family members is more, the higher the happiness index is. Finally, the paper put forward suggestions and countermeasures to promote floating population lives happiness from doing floating population social work and the combination of social work with their family life.
