| In the informationized society, people’s communication channels are no morethan the oral and written ways to deliver information. There is no doubt that teachingon speaking and writing play important role in Chinese learning. Meanwhile, teachingon speaking and writing work at the lower grade of the primary school is quitesignificant to reduce the difficulty of writing a composition at a higher grade, leadstudents to express freely and cultivate their writing passion. In the present schools,many Chinese teachers at the lower grade emphasize the development of students’interest in the teaching on writing words. However, all the emphasis on the interestwill lower the requirements for writing a passage and the quality of the writing andaffect the composition teaching level in the later life. In this paper, based on theresearch of the present situation of the students’ writing words, the author suggests toadopt following strategies: to strengthen the accumulation, attach much importance tothe training on punctuation marks and various sentence-making and emphasize thetraining on students’ observation and imagination, confirm the assessment andcultivate students’ interest, etc. The author aims at developing the students’ interest inwriting words and ensuring the writing quality.This paper mainly makes questionnaire survey to the students at lower grade(about1,000students) and the Chinese teachers (about40teachers) of the threeschools in Kunming, including Shiji Jinyuan School Attached to Yunnan NormalUniversity, The Primary School Attached to Yunnan University, and Guandu DistrictEast Railway Station Primary School. The survey mainly focuses on students’recognition on the teaching about writing words, problems collection and solutionpresentation, students’ writing habits, teachers’ implementation status and theirattitudes towards writing words. On the basis of the statistics result of the survey, theauthor found that the major problems existing during the teaching of the threeabove-mentioned schools were as follows—as for the students, ill quality of thestudents’ writing, poor observation, bad imagination and little interest in writingwords; for the teachers, lacking teaching system, indefinite writing objective, paying too much attention to the forms rather than the actual instruction, being unaware ofusing the teaching guidebook and unfavorable teaching assessment.This paper analyses the causes of all the problems and puts forward sometargeted teaching training contents and methods, which are quite practical. |
