Research On Social Work Intervention Of Infants And Young Children In Floating Population

Under the background of economic globalization as well as national industrialization and urbanization, the fast change of China’s social economy since the reform and opening up has promoted the flow of labor, which mainly transfer from countryside to city, from the underdeveloped regions to the developed regions, thus generating considerable floating population. In recent years, our government and some charitable organizations and even scholars from all walks of life pay close heed to the study and living conditions of those migrant workers’ children and have made some supportive policy for them on this area.However, there is still no any systematic concern about the living conditions on the 0~3years old migrant babies.Based on the case of Urban Migrant Children Home-visiting Model Project, this thesis will explore how social workers could help those migrant babies family and how to stimulate the early education in those family and aid them to master the notion and methods of early education by using case study, group study and community study. Our team has made research on the issue of early education in Xiao Jia he community on the spot, and studied on our real material, which will promote the development of infants’ early education.
