Primary School Science Curriculum Resources Development And Utilization

At the beginning of the century, started a significant reform of elementary education in our country. As a part of the reform ,the utilization and development of curriculum resources,the importance of which have been found increasingly recent years,draw many people's attention with the focus on peculiarity and creativity.The target of science curriculum in primary school is to improve pupil's science qualities. In order to reach this goal and provide a vast intelligence improving background for pupils, we must utilize and develop various curriculum resources. With the support of various curriculum resources, the science course can meet the needs of pupils who live in different places and have different experience background.Curriculum resources of the science course in primary schools refer to all the resources available to reach the goal of the curriculum. Science curriculum resources are various and plentiful; they widely spread in schools, families, communities and networks. Contacting and influencing each other mutually, all the curriculum resources constitute an organic curriculum system.Lack of resources is a serious problem when we are utilizing and developing curriculum resources in science instruction.There are varied reasons for the problem.Only after we get to the bottom of these reasons,can we find the way to solve the problem.As the most important place for pupil to study science, school should be the center of utilization and development of the curriculum resources.Teacher is not only the terminal instructors but also the most important curriculum resources persons in science course.We should pay more attention to the role of teachers.At the same time, School should enhance the cooperation and contact with families and communities, and develop the assistant function of curriculum resources that distribute out of campus. Utilizing and developing curriculum resources that widely spread in schools, families and communities,and making them a whole system will increase efficiency in primary school science instruction.
