E-learning And The Students' Intellectual Development

In this paper, the author has discussed the definition and characteristics of e-learning, and analyzed the general rule of the development of children's thinking capability. On that base, the author has given a deep discussion on the relationship of e-learning and the development of children's thinking capability, which provides firm theory basis for the extensive application of e-learning in education.E-learning is still a newborn thing, and it has various of definitions. In this paper, the author has brought forward a relatively perfect definition based on the analysis of the structure of e-learning: e-Learning is a completely new study manner, it provides learning and instruction activity based on network(internet ^ LAN > satellite broadcasting network), and it emphasizes learner oriented study, and provides digital content such as network course, multimedia material, multimedia courseware, test database, cases etc. in mutual learning environment, and thereby efficiently promotes the development of learner's knowledge and capability, and substantively produces creative talents with capability which imminently needed in 21 century.There are many outstanding characteristics in e-learning, such as mutuality, hyper-media, virtual reality, tracking, collaboration etc. E-learning is digital learning based on the technology of computer and network. The relationship of e-learning and constructism is supplement each other. Construcism is the theory foundation to e-learning, while e-learning is the most directly embodiment of constructism in the practise of instruction.As for the development of children's thinking capability, there have already existed multitudinous theories at present, among which the most influential theories are the theory of J. Piaget, the theory of Gardena, the theory of Zhu zhixian and Lin chongde and the theory of He kekang. On the base of plenty analysis, the author has abstracted the advantage and accordant aspect from apiece theory, taking as the theory foundation of thinking of this paper. In this paper, the author think that First of all ,As for the form of thinking , we human being possess three basic form of thinking: logical thinking ,visualized thinking, instinct thinking ,which have no rating difference, only the object and method thinking processing distinguish them from one another. Secondly, With regard to the structure of thinking, the structure of thinking is a compound body, a integrated structure of thinking should at least include three form of thinking: visualized thinking, instinct thinking, logical thinking; two thinking method: radiation thinking and dialectical thinking as well as meta-recognize which is also an important thinking mechanism. Thirdly, concerning the phases of thinking development, the development of thinking have different phases, apiece phase should not overstep, and every phase has a key period, which can be brought forward under proper education; After the children have mastered elementary language capability, the development of thinking in every phase is always the entirely development of logical thinking, visualized thinking, and instinct thinking. Fourth, as thinking quality is concerned, thinking quality should be consisted of profundity agility original creation smartness criticism, which is impersonality guideline to evaluate thedevelopment of thinking. As for non-cognize factors, the relationship of non-cognize factors and cognize factors is indivisibility, among non-cognize factors, motive factor have the most directed and prominent influence on cognize factors, especially study motive.E-learning and traditional education provide two quite different instruct measure. The basic character of traditional education measure is emphasis on knowledge and ignorance of capability. As a result, only knowledge-applied talent can be cultivated, while e-learning environment is in favor of the full development of children, and can make them into creative talents.The accelerating effect of e-learning on the development of children thinking...
