The article discusses the significance of educating the middle school students in Chinese proficiency in secondary vocational education, as well as how to educate the students' Chinese proficiency better in practical teaching.Cuttently, with the economic development of our country, the secondary vocational education in China presents such a situation, that is, it seems that sudden spring breeze comes during the night,thousands and tens of thousands pears blossom out. It is faced with an arduous task as the main base which trains the workers of high qualities and skills for the front line of manufacturing, operation, management and service in our country. Especially with the appearance of intellectual economy, the urgent request of the time is the conversion of advanced technology into secondary, high class technique type, application type and bridge type talent of the realistic productivity. The educational direction of secondary vocational education requires the students to possess professional skills, good vocational abilities and necessary qualities of science and culture.The high or low Chinese proficiency of the students has the direct influence on their formation of the professional skills and vocational abilities, as well as a series of links into practice, such as taking up occupations, electing jobs,etc. As a result, secondary vocational education should pay more attention to the education of students' Chinese proficiency.Chinese proficiency is the ability of interactive communication which uses the languages and words to understand and express.lt is a necessary sum of psychological feature to accomplish certain Chinese activities smoothly when an indivisual communicates with others. It will play a very important role to their future studying,living and development if the students have higher reading ability,writing ability,listening and speaking ability.The author give a survey on the Chinese proficiency of parts of the vocational schools in Changchun, in a form of questionary ,the result leaves us a little worried.The weak point of the students at writing and oraliiicommunication ability makes them appear to be embarassed during their job interview,which even affects their chance and space to show their professional ability,especially,the engineering students are more serious at this aspect.This article gives a scientific definition of the relationship between Chinese proficiency and professional ability,vocational ability , defines the scientificalness and regularity of the education of the Chinese proficiency,and introduces her own opinion on the strategy of putting the education of Chinese proficiency into practice.
