To advance all-round Quality Education is the basic task of theimprovement and development of Elementary Education. Its basicobjective is to promote students'overall development. People are nowpaying closer attention to the reform of students'evaluation which isconsidered as a main link in the reform of Elementary Education.However, evaluation just means tests or exams in people's traditional ideafor a long time. If we take tests or exams as the only standard to measurestudents'study, it will seriously hinder the development of students. Thedeeper educational reform goes, the more obvious the disadvantages oftraditional evaluation come.It is Developmental Evaluation that remedies the defect ofTraditional Evaluation. It reflects the educational idea of "All for thedevelopment of students"and shows the direction of the reform ofstudents'evaluation. Here is the article, describing the relationshipbetween teacher's evaluation and students'development with regards tothe theory and practice.
