As the process of informationization and democratization being accelerated constantly in the modern society, the internal and external environment of school management becomes more and more complicated and changeable. The traditional school management system is facing the severe challenge, the basic education reform is being deepened and gone on constantly, the management system of school is being moved from centralization towards decentralization, from autarchy towards democracy, from controlling towards serving. With the influence of School-Based Management of the western, the process of democratization of school management in public middle school of our country is being accelerated.In traditional middle school management, school leaders and teachers take no notice to the students' subject status in the school, and only regard the students as the passive accepters of management activities, so the students have no chance to participate in any activity of school management at all. However, with the development of knowledge and economy in modern society, the middle school students of today grow up rapidly, they require respect in school and have a strong consciousness of participating in the school management with democracy. The middle school students participating in the school management also becomes a significant subject both in theory and in practice. But there has no systematic and comprehensive research documents in this domain up to now. This article will formulate that the middle school students, as the citizen , nonage , educatee and consumer of the education, have the right to participate in the management activity of school. It is an important way for students to realize their own value by participating in the school management, and it is also a desirability to improve the school management efficiency.For the sake of understanding the situation of students participating in the school management in the public middle school in an all-round way, this article has launched an investigation and interview to the will and current situation of the middle schoolstudents participating in the school management, and then analyses and deals with these relevant data. The investigation and interview indicate that the middle school students generally have a strong will of participating in the school management at present, the school leaders, the teachers and the parents of students comparatively support the behavior of students participating in the school management, but the fact of students participation is not very ideal. It relates to many factors, such as the whole educational management system, management consciousness of the school administrators, management environment of the school, middle school students' own actual conditions, etc.In order to push the democratization of school management better, realize students participation in the school management effectively, this article has put forward a series of effective management strategies and measures. First, change the management consciousness of the school administrators and offer a support environment for students participation; Second, strengthen the establishment of relevant laws and regulations, impel the legalization for students participation in the school management; Third, standardize the activities of students participation, improve the actual effect of students participation in the school management; Fourth, reform the school management system constantly, ensure students to participate in school management effectively; Fifth, strengthen relevant theoretical research, with an establishment of the theoretical foundation for students participation in the school management practice.
