In Chinese primary education students' passive learning is popular for a long time. As the rapid development of modern information technology, the personal value such as subjectivity, independence, autonomous has being emphasized gradually, passive learning isn't only affect students' improvement of learning quality, but also restrain their all-around development. So, everyone advocates the reform of the learning style. This paper focuses on research of the self-regulated learning under the background of the modern information technology. In the environment of information technology, the study must enrich and develop the current research of middle school students' self-regulated learning on the basis of reference of related documentary and classroom observation.This thesis includes five parts. The first part——preface mainlyresolves three problems: foreign and domestic research levels, the value, methods and the definition of some related concepts. The second part is about the theory of the self-regulated learning, such as the fundamental theory, psychological mechanism and the relation between modern information technology and self-regulated learning in junior middle school.
