With the development of modern traffic, communication technique and the frequent communication on economy, science and technology, culture and education, the world becomes smaller and the international connection becomes more and more close. Thus, it is the objective needs to cultivate bilingual talents with specialized knowledge and trans-cultural background to broaden our foreign communication and promote reform and opening-up policy and improve the international competitiveness of China. As bilingual teaching stems from foreign countries, to set up the theoretical system and practice pattern of bilingual teaching under our real national situation plays a key role in understanding and practicing bilingual teaching.This article is trying to integrate quality education with the theory of curriculum reform in fundamental education and to unscramble the notion of bilingual teaching under the instruction of the integration of the two sides. Based on the above, this paper will take the practice of bilingual teaching in history as the entry for the research of the theory and practice of bilingual teaching of different subjects, hopefully which will not only benefit the practice of bilingual teaching in history, but also help bilingual teaching is applied to the classroom teaching of other subjects.The theoretical significance of this research is as follows: 1. to apply the bilingual teaching theory into different subjects through practicing English in history teaching; 2. to integrate bilingual teaching with the real situation in China in order to localize the theory of bilingual teaching with Chinese character. 3. to integrate bilingual teaching with the curriculum reform in fundamental education in order to practice the new notions of the curriculum reform in fundamental education.The practical value of this research: This research discusses the practical strategies of bilingual teaching of history subject in fundamental education reform, which may reform and innovate the teaching approaches of history teaching in middle school; Moreover, it may be used as a reference to other subjects in middle school teaching.The major approaches of this research are: 1. integration of real practice andinsights; 2. Comparison study on bilingual teaching and education in home and abroad.The innovation of this research is mainly demonstrated on two sides. In theory, it integrates bilingual teaching with the notion of curriculum reform in fundamental education, which broadens the core of quality education and curriculum reform. In practice, to explore bilingual teaching as a teaching approach applied in different subjects may improve the comprehensive quality of students.The basic conclusion of the research: As an innovative teaching approach, bilingual teaching not only promotes the reform of the teaching approaches in history education in middle school, but also the new round curriculum reform of history in fundamental education.
