On content building of Information Technology Curriculum (ITC), 'Work Thread' is a new train of thought. 'Work Thread' impregnates with the idea of new curriculum reformation, and is luxuriant of meaning and education value, so it has been identified by many experts and teachers. It is in the ascendant and needs to be carried forward.After reading the 'Work Thread' theory, this dissertation finds its meaning and attributes clearly and accurately. Inheriting the relational research findings on content building of ITC, this dissertation identifies the scopes of curriculum content in the view of this research, and recognizes four 'works' in the highest abstraction level: Identifying and acquiring information, processing and expressing information, storing and managing information, publishing and communicating information.And then, this dissertation analyzes the four 'works' separately in the next four chapters. On one hand, we recognize specific work in different abstraction levels, inspect curriculum content which every 'work' adsorbs in the meanwhile, and so construct 'configuration map of work' which can reveal the relation between 'works'; On the other hand, considering work's layering and dependability, learning of 'work' should be spiraling, so this dissertation makes some instructional suggestions during the recognition of 'work' or after constructing 'configuration map of work'.
