This article investigates migrant children's characteristic of creative thinking. To achieve this, the author selects 496 migrant children(grade1-grade 3) from two migrant schools, a mixed school as the study object and 212 city children(grade1-grade 3) as contrast at southern of Jiangsu province, and use "Williams creative thinking activities" meter as a research tool to survey the characteristics of creative thinking.The results are following: Firstly, performance of migrant children was obvious worse than city children in other indicators such as fluency except flexibility and precision. Secondly, migrant school students' performance on the title was obvious worse than the migrant-run school students. Other five indicators were not significant. Thirdly, performance of the girls in the migrant school was obvious better than boys in other indicators such as fluency except flexibility and precision. Fourthly, the students in junior two have higher fluency than junior one and junior three and the students in junior three have higher flexibility than junior one and junior two. Other indicators showed no obvious grade difference. Fifthly, performance on fluency and uniqueness and flexibility of the children in the short term into the city were better than the children who in the medium and long term into the city. Other indicators showed no obvious difference.The conclusions are following: Firstly, the grade obvious different result showed that migrant children's creative thinking shown an upward trend overall from the general trend, but more slowly. Secondly, the sex and grade obvious different results showed that the developments of various quality of thinking were imbalance. Thirdly, the grade and flow obvious results showed that flows promoted the development of their creative thinking to some extent.According to the data, combing with the problems exposed in the process, improving the material conditions, mental condition were put forward practical training strategies to enhance the migrant children in the level of creative thinking.
