The Traditional Project Development And Current Situation Of Nanjing Twenty-ninth Middle School Volleyball Reflection

The traditional sports program volleyball of Nanjing Twenty-ninth Middle School occupies an important position in the volleyball development in Nanjing. Nanjing Twenty-ninth Middle School has cultivated many good players who ultimately enter into the national team, province team and universities. The glory owes success to the members of sports team and school leaders'hard work. In order to promote the development of volleyball and make more progress, the author studied the emergence and development of volleyball in Nanjing Twenty-ninth Middle School and analyzed the problems in the development process, hoping to have a positive effect.Using documentary, logical method, interview method, mathematical statistics and comparative analysis, the study marshaled the history of volleyball and summed up, compared and analyzed the achievements and the excellent players of the school to find the defects in the development of volleyball.The findings show that volleyball in Nanjing Twenty-ninth Middle School has a long history. In seventies of 20th century the affiliated middle school of Nanjing Institute of Education (the precursor of Nanjing Twenty-ninth Middle School) has made great achievements in volleyball.In the nearly fifty years of the development of volleyball, the Nanjing Twenty-ninth Middle School has made twice the national championship, once the national second runner-up, eighteen provinces champions, seventeen Nanjing champions.The study also shows that since 2008 this school seldom took part in the province and city contests and this period also is the worst time in the school's history. There are problems in nearly all facets and there are no commissioned players from this school. For two years they haven't participated in the city contest only between 2008 and 2010 they participated the province contest once. The reason of this is the severe shortage of volleyball players.
