College Counselors in Higher Education Management undertake complex tasks. Compared with other officers, the level in job burnout of college counselors is very remarkable, which has drawn attention of many researchers. The study aims to stimulate the work initiative and enthusiasm of college counselors, which will play a significant role in creating a harmonious atmosphere in the whole field of higher education.Using literature, questionnaire and interview, in this study,We select the part of private college counselors in Jiangsu Province, a total of 150 people as subjects, for the investigation of job burnout. We have made comparasion of job burnout under different vital statistics, and have made exploratory research on the relationships among job burnout, influencing factors and consequences of the correlation.Statistical analysis have been carried out through correlation analysis.variance analysis.etc.Then we reach the conclusions as following:On the level of occupational burnout, the overall degree of private college counselors' job burnout in JiangSu Province is not high, a bit lower in the middle level,and the symptom of job burnout is not very obvious. Only a small number of private college counselors show severe symptom of job burnout.In all dimensions, emotional exhaustion is more serious.and depersonalization has appeared.but a sense of personal effectiveness does still not decline evidently.In the statistical variables of each demographic, gender, age. marital status and titles of private counselors.all these have influence on job burnout to some degree.While teaching experience and school teaching conditions are not so influencial.It means demography variables on job burnout may be used as an agent variable to affect job burnout.Through the study of case interview.the main factors which influence job burnout of the private college counselors in JiangSu Province boil down to four aspects:The working environment(including interpersonal relationships, managerial system of school,and social supports),working properties(including workload, work intensity.working time and development space of career) and the sense of control(including whether students are easy to manage or not. the personality diathesis of counselors).value expectations(including treatment, assessment appraised, etc.).Finally.based on the result of the study,the post of leading-in EAP to solve job burnout of the private college counselors in JiangSu Province, has initially established specific implementation of intervening private college counselors'job burnout.So as to effectively prevent and manage job burnout of counselors from perspective of organization.As well as providing psychological basis to help improve counselors'work and promote their career development, ultimately achieving the greater target to improve actual efficiency for the work for university students.
