Transference plays an important role in meaningful learning. Learners must establish non-human substantial relation between the appropriate concepts of new knowledge and old knowledge structure, that is, to establish relation between the old and new knowledge. It is essentially the influence of old knowledge on new study which is called transference problem. Without the participation of already-known knowledge and experience, students can only do isolated and mechanical study. Transference rule is not only the application of learning outcome in changed conditions, but also the basic conditions for new learning. Using transference rule correctly can improve the efficiency of education and teaching work. In teaching if teachers take full account of the conditions to improve learning transference in the process of selecting teaching content, arranging teaching material, improving pedagogy and organizing exercises rationally, learning efficiency can be greatly enhanced.In this paper, the investigation objects are the students of 2008 Physical Education classes, Department of Physical Education, Soochow University and Physical Education teachers of Volleyball class in Physical Education Department of Soochow University. The author Uses literature data method, questionnaire survey method, data statistics method and other methods to research on the application of transference rule in College volleyball teaching.The results showed that: 1,According to the development level of transference, the transference of skills in volleyball teaching can be divided into vertical transference, horizontal transference, Multi-point, multi-directional transference, transference between the technical tactics and transference of volleyball skills and other sports skills. 2,There are several factors that influence the transference and interference of volleyball skills: common elements between the old and new skills, analysis and generalization of existing experience and students'existing knowledge and skills foundation.3,In transference of knowledge, in volleyball under toss skill, attention should be paid to the angle principle between the arm and the ground, and the whip movement skill principle in spike skills. In volleyball service skills, attention should be paid to the principles of spinning skill and floating skill.4,Students'attitude towards learning volleyball directly affects his learning result. However, most students do not cherish correct attitude towards volleyball learning, and they do not understand the importance of learning Volleyball. Students'understanding of transference rule in volleyball teaching is not thorough enough, and most of them are not clear about the importance of volleyball pedagogy. Only a few students keep in their mind some helpful learning methods and techniques for later use, and half of the students lack understanding of the importance of volleyball thinking. 5,The majority of teachers think that applying transference rule has a good impact on teaching, while only a small part of teachers never consider the impact of transference factor on volleyball teaching. When teachers explain volleyball theory, they should further emphasize the same part of technical movements.
