A new round of basic education curriculum reform to the traditional roles of teachers and students in history teaching has proposed the severe challenge. In the traditional classroom teaching of history, the role of the teacher and student is single .This single role of teachers and students can not adapt to the requirements of the new curriculum reform. The current basic education curriculum reform not only requires students to obtain knowledge and skills, but also requires to achieve the overall development of students' psychological quality. Traditional history teaching in teachers and students role is a simple" knowledge class " teaching, and it neglects the student's overall development. The new curriculum reform puts forward "to every student development" philosophy of education, and advocates the teaching should pay attention to students' development, and regard students as living individuals. The teaching under the new curriculum should be the teacher-student interaction, communication process. Teachers and students can participate in the process. The new teaching concept leads the author to re-examine the traditional roles of teachers and students. To make the high school history classroom teaching really walk out of predicament, teachers must change traditional antagonistic roles of teachers and students , learn together with students ,develop the new role of teachers and students and at last makes the classroom radiate vitality. This paper focuses on the initial exploration of the transformation of the roles of teachers and students on classroom teaching of history in secondary schools. By paying attention to the development of teachers and students, it studies the new curriculum under the new concept of history classroom teaching.The thesis consists of seven parts. The first part is the introduction, mainly including the problem, significance of the research, the status quo of the problem, the train of thought and method. The second part elaborates the new curriculum of high school history teaching between teachers and students in the role transition theory. The third part, from the perspective of teachers and students, analyses the strategy on role transformation. The fourth part, expounds the basic implementation procedures of the roles of teachers and students, mainly from the classroom construction analysis. The fifth part analyzes the effect and significance of the teachers and students role conversion and the problems needed to notice in the process. The sixth part is a conclusion. The effect of the teacher and student role conversion shows, teacher-student role conversion in high school history classroom can stimulate students' interest in learning history and promote students' and teachers'all-round development, and can be more conducive to students' innovation thinking in the formation and cultivation of the learning ability.
