High school art students, is a special group of students who sit in the main entrance in art colleges and universities. In this paper, the basic characteristics of art students, including the psychological characteristics and learning characteristics of the survey conducted extensive research on students learning art, learning motivation, learning goals and direction, etc. described in depth. With college entrance requirements, the art history students to learn the purpose, significance, made a comprehensive analysis.In this paper, characteristics of students to new curriculum standards and educational philosophy based on theory, history, art students study the basic principles of teaching, especially teaching objectives and teaching methods were more thorough discussion. For art students learn the history of the special nature of the content of teaching the necessary integration, the students put forward for the art history syllabus and teaching measures.
