With the rapid development of our economy and society, the key requirement of primary and secondary education have switched from popularizing education in quantity to improving the quality of education. The key factor in improving primary and secondary education lies in improving the quality of primary and secondary school teachers, especially those in rural areas. The development of educational theory and practice proved that professionalizing teaching strategies is the most important and also the most successful means of improving teaching quality. Meanwhile, with the educational reform progressing, the teachers continuous improvement of teaching methods is greatly required by students, schools and parents, high expectations for good teachers gradually increases, many teachers face pressure from all sides, thus leaving them quite helpless and confused, or even losing their direction in the teaching process. Therefore, at the current moment , improving the quality of teachers and stimulating professionalization of teachers is imminent. To promote the professional development of teachers, we have to take a deep look at the actual development of Chinese education reform as a whole, on the other hand we also have to focus on what the teachers think and do, as individuals, to cope with the professionalizing development carrying on right now, especially on the practical problems faced in some rural areas.Currently, Sichuan Dazhu the overall quality of primary and secondary school teachers still need to be improved. In this particular case, the professional level of teachers can not meet the requirement of the educational reform in this new era. It can be concluded that the low professional level of teachers had become a constraint Dazhu education. In the trend of deepening educational reform and to counter the growing demand of people for quality education, the most important problem to education problems in Dazhu county is to effectively lead and facilitate professionalized primary and secondary school teachers in the rural regions.This study consists of four parts: The first part is the introduction, focusing on the origin of this study as well as the current research status of this topic, and then clarify related definitions and the range of this study. The second part is the analysis of the theoretical basis of professionalizing development of teachers. The third part is taking rural school teachers of Dazhu County as the sample of a survey so as to furthur understand the status of professional development of teachers. On this basis, we can conclude some of the typical problems about the professionalization of teachers during the survey analysis. The fourth part is to bring out countermeasures to furthur promote the professionalizing development for primary and secondary school teachers.
