The Research Of Supplier Management For SPC Company

Pharmaceuticals industry is one of the biggest market value industries in all of the major economies of the world, Chinese pharmaceutical industry is also growing fast by two digits percentage annually in recent years. Besides business opportunity, good management determines the capability of sustainable development for firms. Pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply is related with people's health and safety, supplier management is of great significance for pharmaceutical enterprises to enhance their internal management system in order to achieve a rapid and healthy company development.This thesis, from the angle of supplier management, aims to solve SPC company's current problem of lack of scientific management system and unclear management strategy. Under the theory of supplier management, and the requirements and features of pharmaceutical supply management, by analyzing and studying the current SPC company's supplier management practice including supplier selection, evaluation, supplier relationship management and collaboration strategy etc.. The thesis gives the resources and suggestions for SPC company to improve and perfect the supplier management system. The supplier relationship management mainly study the importance of establishing strategic supplier partnerships, and its collaborating coordination and excitation mechanism. While the management practice focus on the procedure from supplier selection and evaluation till to the establishment of strategic supplier partnership. Then supplier management system is integrated with practice and strategy.As a participant of SPC company supplier management, after MBA study and integrate theory with practice, the author hopes the content of this paper could provide some help or reference to SPC company and other similar companies in pharmaceutical field.
