Research On Motivation Of IT Enterprise Knowledge Workers

With the development of knowledge economy, creative work based on knowledge will become the new main forms of work. At the same time, knowledge creation, utilization and appreciation has gradually become a modern source of competitive advantage and growing booster. Thus, Knowledge workers which master certain knowledge and skills, and use of knowledge to work have become a key force to promote enterprise development. Then, recognizing the role of knowledge workers, and understanding their characteristics and needs to effectively motivate knowledge workers, has become a business imperativeIT companies is knowledge-intensive of high-tech enterprises, which has a larger proportion of knowledge workers. How to effectively motivate knowledge workers has become a major issue faced by the IT enterprises. From the perspective of incentives, combination of literature research and survey, this article researches the Incentive problem of knowledge workers in China.First of all, through sorting out the related concepts and theories, this paper has a summary of the definition of knowledge workers and analyzes the IT enterprise knowledge workers characteristics. Secondly, we indicate the current incentive status of knowledge workers and analyze causes of the problems. In addition, based on previous studies on motivating factor and combining with staff interviews, we design the questionnaires. We have a statistical analysis of survey data through the questionnaire with SPSS statistical analysis software, which is an empirical research of motivating factor to knowledge workers for the IT companies. Finally, on the basis of the empirical analysis, combining with the characteristics of knowledge workers and the current problems, this paper proposed a comprehensive incentive system for knowledge workers and set up some measure to effectively motivate knowledge workers, which have some of the specific reference to the current practice of IT companies...
