With its unique thrilling and interesting feature, large scale of amusement equipment hasbecome popular in almost all the theme park all over the world. However, with the growingdesire of amusement and thrill in entertainment, high velocity,high acceleration and complexmotion of amusement device as roller coaster is needed, which is necessary to ensure theirsafety. The roller coaster is crowned as the “King of Entertainment Machine”, which itsmanufacturing level also reflects to the enterprise of company. Through the use of virtualprototyping technology and graphics, designers can simulate and assess the roller coaster’sfeatures, performance and other aspects of the problem. thereby improving the roller coastermotion characteristics, shorten development cycles, reduce production costs. Moreover, rollercoaster’s virtual simulation should be consistent with the actual situation.It has great influence in roller coaster’ virtual simulation, with the way of rail trackmodeling and its accuracy. Firstly, designers can draw the track benchmark curve according tothe customer needs with Euler angle, and then obtained the coordinates of the key points ofthe two tracks through space coordinate conversion, cubic spline fitting can be completedquickly in orbit modeling. This method can quickly and accurately establish the rail track,and it can meet project needs and ensure the accuracy of the modeling. Roller coaster verticalring when using Euler angle to describe the attitude problems, track generates singularsegment, By using Quaternion spline interpolation theory, Gimbals lock problem can besolved, thereby correcting the legislation at the track in the form of the ring.In order to facilitate better application of engineering and technical personnel to orbitmodeling algorithms, a simple interface is completed to the modeling and adjustment of railtrack by use of MATLAB and VB hybrid programming. Also, VBA which is the secondarydevelopment tools of AutoCAD will be used. Rail track adjustments includes three aspects:sleeper sectional’s angle of heel, the track pitch and the adjustment of the reference curve. It ispossible to improve the motion of the roller coaster, and feedback adjustment can be achievedby partial adjustment of the track. This paper has taken the production of the vertical roller coaster in a domestic companyas an example, and has analyzed the dynamic characteristics in sliding amusement equipment.With Solidworks3D modeling software, three-dimensional model of the vertical roller coasteris built, and imported into the ADAMS. In order to obtain the corresponding stiffness anddamping values, experimental analysis of polyurethane material on the wheels of rollercoaster is taken. Add the appropriate constraints and load dynamic simulation carried out inaccordance with the the roller coaster actual operating conditions, speed, acceleration andconstraint reaction force data curve.Establishing the vertical roller coaster suspension system mathematical model, usingMatlab/Simulink for its acceleration, and the results compared to the model with verticalroller coaster dynamics simulation data to verify the modeling and simulation method isfeasible. With the vertical roller coaster of the Virtual Prototyping’s curve, statics strengthanalysis of complex conditions, to improve its safety performance. Vertical roller coaster isone kind of sliding amusement, which its simulation analysis method has a strong promotion,to provide a reference for the design of the other kinds of sliding amusement.
