This research subject based on the background of international industrial designeducation development,Chinese industrial design education has made great achievementalthough with many problems. The research objects are four representative China-Eurofamous design schools.The main research content is Empirical Study of China-Euro Famousindustry design school undergraduate education.Many research methods were used in the subject,such as literature review method,interview method,questionnaire investigation,mathematical statistics method, etc.Literatureview was firstly carried out at the beginning of the research progress,having a basicunderstand of the research development in this area.Literature study and interview methodwere used in the investigation of the four China-Euro famous design schools,collecting a lotof related informations and materials.Based on the previous research result,the industrialdesign major construction evaluation system was built,with eight1st level subjects andsixteen2nd level detail subjects. Data sorting was conducted according to the16subjectabove and finally the questionnaire was designed and the distribution of questionnaire wascarried out in School of design,Jiangnan University.The questionnaire targets wereundergraduate, to collect their attitude and detail information.Statistic methods and tools wereused in the data mining process.According to the statistic result,students have different attitudes and preferences amonethe four China-Euro famous design schools in ID major construction with16specificprojects.Different demographic variables in the research have different statistic results with11specific projects.The paper finally put forward four piece of industrial design educationsuggestions: clear major characteristic, pay attention to discipline integration, diversifyprofessional construction and teaching, treat students’ development as teaching center,differentiated students’ training and put effort on professional software and hardwareconstruction.
