There exists a big difference between English and Chinese sentence structure, so sentence reconstruction is wildly used in the translation. This paper discusses the methods of sentence reconstruction in marine-related text translation. Texts related to maritime affairs show distinguished sentence characteristics that directly affect translation process and translation effect. On the basis of analyzing sentence characteristics, the paper mainly studies sequential method and reverse order method in marine-related text translation. Sequential method explores basic sequential method as the partial adjustment of word order. Meanwhile, according to different reasoning and thinking models, reverse order method discusses the application of "cause and effect" and "timing" law in translation to restructure sentences in order to make translation more fluent and consistent with the thinking mode of target language readers.
