Research On The Problem Of Party Member’s Democratic Rights In The New Period

To develop inner-party democracy and protect democratic rights of the partymember is an important content in the thought of Marxist party building, also is animportant content in development and construction of ruling party. No guarantee ofparty member’s democratic rights, the inner-party democracy will become an emptytalk. Therefore, we must protect party member’s democratic rights effectively.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is mainly talk about the scientific connotation and basiccharacteristics of party member’s democratic rights. Using the method of comparativeanalysis to interpret the basic concept of party member’s democratic rights, and statethe basic principles of the protection of party member’s democratic rightssystematically.The second part analyzes the current situation of the protection of partymember’s democratic rights in the new period. Using the method of surveys and caseanalysis to confirm the main achievements on the protection of party member’sdemocratic rights in the new period, and summarize the experience on the four typicalrepresentative innovation modes selected from many exploring practice of all aroundbasic-level party organizations. Except concluding the achievements, but also pointsout a series of problems still existed in protecting party member’s democratic rights inthe new period, and analyzes the reason for the existence of the problems.The third part is talk about some thinking on protecting party member’sdemocratic rights. From the cultivation of party member’s democratic quality,improving of the inner-party democratic system and the inner-party laws andregulations, and establishing of evaluation mechanism to put forward some ideas. Ihope the implementation of these assumptions can make party member’s rights fully exercising and the inner-party democracy developing further.
