In the international context of the current world political and economic situation is undergoing profound changes, the Obama administration proposed a high-profile return to Asia strategy. Through increased investment, the Asian political and diplomatic and economic efforts to promote the establishment of the relationship of the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership, to build a US-led economic system of cooperation and expand security military base construction, to strengthen the Asia-Pacific military alliance with a series of measures, the United States accelerate the pace of return to the Asian strategy. Return to the strategy of the Obama administration showing the Asian strategy of the most important position in the U.S. global strategy and the strategy of containment against China, stressed that the bilateral alliance is the basis for regional participation, to raise the overall political and security relations with ASEAN and so on.Asia strategy as an important part of U.S. global strategy, the Obama administration by the return to reach the re-boost the U.S. economy, to strengthen U.S. influence in Asia, and to seize the opportunities in the future of the strategic situation in Asia, while play to curb the rise of China, maintaining multiple strategic objectives of the balance of power in the Asia-Pacific region, and its essence is still the rise of a China containment plus engagement strategy. Return to the implementation of the strategy, the effect will be America’s own development, and regional powers in Asia and ASEAN, and many other uncertainties and constraints.In the face of this situation, China needs to face the United States to return to Asia strategy; against the United States to return to the strategic ambivalence, good use of their own strengths, to guide U.S. diplomacy in favor of bilateral relations the direction of development; conform to the trend of world development, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between China and neighboring countries, firmly grasp the diplomatic initiative for China’s peaceful development and a stable, relaxed, a favorable external environment.
