Research On Government Officials’ Dereliction Of Accountabbility In Social Management

Government is the leader of the social management and policy implementers in the Social management system. But there are often administrative nonfeasance, administrative chaos as, or even abuse of administrative power and dereliction of duty to society and people huge losses, affecting the government’s image and credibility and hinder social equity and fair during the administrative activities of government officials in the coordination of social relationships, norms of social behavior, resolving social conflicts,maintaining social stability.Meanwhile,many disharmonious contradictions and problems of our society is caused by the malfeasance of government officials. And the main malfeasance forms of social management in the activities of government officials are as follows:behavior-prone, the content of confusing, morphological variability and severity of the consequences. Dereliction of duty should be held accountable, and accountability means accountability,which are integral parts of democratic politics. Although China has made great progress in the government officials’dereliction of duty to accountability mechanisms from the practical to institutional building, there are also some problems existing.Perfecting accountability mechanisms of government official misconduct is good for the development of people’s democracy, the establishment of responsible government, to improve the quality of officials and to promote honest and diligent government. From a practical perspective, restrict and regulating the authority of government and officials aim to achieve the purpose of the right of the people. The core concept to improve the accountability of government officials malfeasance mechanism is the unity of the rights and responsibilities. The power of the government depends on the duty it takes.The responsibility of the Government is the necessity of China’s socialist harmonious society and accountability. Through the grasping of the key to strengthening the legal construction of accountability, integration of accountability subject to form a comprehensive system of supervision,building accountability environment, the formation of a culture of accountability, enhancing the accountability level, promoting government innovation to improve and perfecting the current accountability mechanisms can prevent and reduce the misconduct of government officials in the process of social management, promote government officials’ sense of responsibility, administration, and enhance the government’s image and credibility, realize the true responsibility government, and finally speed up the construction of a harmonious socialist society.
