In the process of China high school ideological and political education at present,there are some problems with varying degrees which included separating theideological and political education from the real life, and ideological and politicaleducation lacking pertinence and effectiveness. At the moment, the main developmenttrend of the humanities is noticing life, returning to life and engaging life. As theimportant part of humanities, only to blend in the real life of undergraduates and payattention to the actual requirement, ideological and political education will fulfill thetask and achieve the aim of ideological and political education, which also thelife-oriented of ideological and political education can achieve: the life-oriented ofideological and political education is taking the life as center, the undergraduates assubject, the practice as means, and doing ideological and political education for lifeand improving life. The life-oriented of high school ideological and politicaleducation is the key to strengthen and improve the graduates’ ideological and politicaleducation, also the important way to strengthen the pertinence, effectiveness,attraction and infection of undergraduates’ ideological and political education. Thewhole paper has five chapters:Chapter one, introduction, it is given the research background and currentsituation of ideological and political education, as well as the research purpose andmeaning.Chapter two, it is stated the connotation of the life-oriented of ideological andpolitical education and concluded the basic characteristic.Chapter three, it is analyzed the necessity for high school to carry out ideologicaland political education.Chapter four, it is initially analyzed the reason of lacking the life-oriented ofideological and political education by summarizing the phenomenon of lackingthelife-oriented of high school ideological and political educationChapter five, it is discussed the implement solution of the life-oriented ofideological and political education, explored deeply the educational idea, educationalaim, educational content and educational means, which is aimed to realize thelife-oriented of high school ideological and political education.
