The Research For Instructors’Ability Building In Independent Colleges Based On Competency Model’s

By the end of the nineteenth century, China’s higher education began to move its steps towards mass education, causing the school-running mode of independent colleges as well, which has become a main component of China’s higher education system as well as played an important role in improving university educational resources and the development of high-quality undergraduate education. The emerging of the School running mode of independent institutes has resolved a number problems of students to enter national education investment as well as those problems of lack of funds from the government.The university instructors are working in a trunk strength, playing a significant role for the university students’ ideological education, life guide as well as the enhancement of university instructors’ abilities which also helps to improve university students’quality and enhance students’ values. It is thought that to improve their abilities mainly comes from the instructor’s work abilities and personal qualities of the two aspects of upgrading of college counselors, only by continuing to improve their own abilities, abilities for college ideological and political work and the work for student management can play a important role. In this passage, by taking Wuchang Polytechnic Institute as the object of analysis, the competency model is applied to enhance the capacity building of counselors.This paper is structured as follows:The first part:introduction mainly focuses on the research background, significance, research reviews, research methods, as well as the structure and innovation, which consist of the four parts.The second part:We have studied independent college counselor competence and the construction of competency model as well as the rise and development of the independent college, the contents of capacity building for induction, competency and competency model and its definition, categories, through questionnaire, behavioral event interview, statistical analysis of data from three aspects of the summary, construction of independent college counselor competency model.The third part:independent college counselors’ abilities to build the current situation and problem analysis. Through investigation for counselors capacity-building analysis of the Wuchang Polytechnic Institute f now as well as from the salary, training, examination and other aspects; according to what has been mentioned above, the independent college counselor ability construction problems include:personnel flows quicken team stability, role positioning is not clear, management mechanism is not perfect as well as the lack of incentive mechanism.The fourth part:The competency model of counselors’ ability based on construction of exploration of system. This part is based on the competency model for improving their ability construction under the proposed countermeasures, mainly from six aspects to be improved:occupation and specialization of tutors’ team, establishing scientific system of selecting talents, establish a scientific evaluation system, strengthening training to improve their comprehensive quality, reasonable planning of counselors occupation career development and perfecting the incentive mechanism.
