| Original from economics, the concept of capital was cited and studied by more and more other disciplines recently. In the blending process with different disciplines, the capital evolved many concepts and theories such as social capital, human capital and psychological capital which was collectively referred to as three-dimensional capital(3-D capital) and gradually became an important research perspective in sociology. Viewed from3-D capital perspective, graduates’ job searching and employment can be considered as process of using capital to access to opportunities and resources. In order to understand the status of graduates’3-D capital and its impaction on employment,3-D capital status quo of Xi’an college graduates in employment was collected by questionnaire survey and its affection on graduates’employment was analyzed by using statistical tool SPSS18.0.Analysis shows that graduates’ employment is affected by the combined effect of3-D capital which each dimension has different influencing factors such as the interaction of students with strong social relationships (teachers, students, friends) plays a dominant factor in the social capital dimension while the main factor is students’ learning, work experience and ability in the human capital dimension and is the college students self-confidence, optimism, hope and toughness levels in the psychological capital dimension.Following the analysis of3-D capital’impact on graduates’employment, countermeasures and suggestions of how to accumulate3-D capital are proposed in microscopic point of view. In the social capital dimension, it’s suggested graduates should correctly understand the role of social capital in employment and focus on the interaction with the strong social relations. In the human capital dimension, human capital investment viewpoint that the direction should primarily focus on winning scholarships, accumulating student leaders work experience and enriching internship experience is listed based on signal filtering theory, while human capital accumulation model that contains universal type of human capital which is the basement and special type of human capital which should be pay attention to cultivate is built by using a hierarchical structure. In the psychological capital dimension, the importance of psychological capital is emphasized and the development way is pointed out in4dimensions which are self-confidence, optimism, hope and resilience. |
