With the rapidly development of vocational education, and continuously increaseddemands of enterprises employing, Secondary Vocational Education is facing unprecedentedchallenges. Practice has proved that traditional teaching methods has been difficult to adaptto society and the development of enterprises, improve teaching methods is an importantway to improve the quality of teaching. Since Action-oriented Teaching Method(AOTM)introduced to the domestic field of vocational education, vocational education inChina has entered a new concept and mode of operation, and has already beenmade for significant results. In presently study, Action-oriented Teaching Method Theory as aguide, in base on the survey research of Secondary mathematics teaching situation, toexplore the feasibility of Action-oriented Teaching Method to the introduction of secondaryvocational mathematics teaching. And use the Action-oriented teaching strategies andteaching method to make a teaching practice on the writer’s school, which is class of six inMechanical and Electrical Technical secondary school department of Weifang University ofScience and Technology. Lastly, the author makes conclusions from the results in applyingAction-oriented teaching method to mathematics teaching, and gives particular teachingadvice.
