Along with the continuous development of social information and democracy, theexternal and internal environments of school are getting more and more complex.Meanwhile, influence by the idea of western school-based management, the process ofdemocratization of school internal management institution of elementary andsecondary school of our country is developing at a rapid rate. The school internalmanagement system of our country is facing momentous turning point, gradually fromcentralization to decentralization, from despotism to democracy and from the control toservice. Therefore, under the background of the popularization of basic education, howto understand the new relationship between the teachers and school becomes anunavoidable problem of the school managers. Teacher participation in the schoolmanagement is putting into the agenda.From discussing the theories of teacher participation in secondary schoolmanagement, this paper makes an investigation of the present situation of teacherparticipation in secondary school management of Wushan Country by using themethods of literature, questionnaire and interview. The results show that there areserious problems of activity, concept, system and mechanism of secondary teacherparticipation in secondary school management in Wushan Country. To solve theseproblems, this paper tries to propose solutions to the main problems of teacherparticipation in secondary school management in the field of theories and practices ofWushan in the four aspects, that is, the activity, concept, mechanism and system ofteacher participation in school management.This paper is divided into three parts except the preface.The first part discusses the theory of teacher participation in secondary schoolmanagement and analyzes its connotation as well as importance. This paper constructsa theoretical framework for teacher participation in secondary school managementfrom four dimensions, that is, activities, concept, mechanism and system. Thetheoretical framework constructed in this part will provide a theory foundation for thelast two parts. The second part investigates the practice situation of teacher participation insecondary school management of Wushan Country on activities, concept, system andmechanism by adopting the methods of questionnaire and interview. Then, accordingto the practical situation, this part analyzes the exiting problems in these fourdimensions.The third part puts forward some measures from four aspects, that is, standard theactivities of teacher participation in secondary school management, improve thesystem of teacher participation in secondary school management, perfect mechanismof teacher participation in secondary school management and establish scientificconcept of teacher participation in secondary school management.
