The economically backward rural areas, one of the reasons for the backwardness of the local quality of education. Hope of economic development in education, the revitalization of education the fundamental of teachers. How to improve the quality of secondary school teachers in rural areas, mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers’ work, and constantly improve the quality of rural education has become an important subject. In this study, Sichuan Province. County S Secondary School (a rural junior high school) as a case study using documents, interviews, questionnaire survey and education research methods to explore the problems of secondary school teachers in rural areas and to analyze the reasons, based on targeted suggestions. The full text is divided into six parts:The first part of the problem, related literature review, research methodsThe second part of the questionnaire and interview surveys, S Secondary School Teachers.The third part through the statistical analysis of the questionnaire proposed County S Secondary School Teachers:the problems teachers the educational structure is unreasonable, the overall low quality; title structure is unreasonable; poor organization of research activities; progressive weak awareness of teachers, the responsibility the heart is not strong; emphasis on teachers’ work and mental load; serious loss of youth backbone teachers; teachers to study in the few opportunities to receive continuing education, and so on.Part Ⅳ S Secondary School Teachers problems, from the policy level, the level of the school management system, the teachers at the individual level cause analysis.Draw useful experience at home and abroad on the basis of the actual situation of the rural secondary schools in County, and put forward suggestions to strengthen the construction of teachers:to increase policy support efforts to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of rural teachers; to increase investment in rural education; improve the rural school management system; strengthen ethics education, creating a thick atmosphere of the whole society of respecting teachers; actively promote the professional development of teachers.Part Ⅵ is the concluding remarks.
