Research On The Construction Of The Model Of Teaching And Researching Activity Based On Mobile Terminal In Rural Area

Teaching and researching activity in rural area is an effective path to improvingthe quality of rural education and strengthening the rural teacher’s professionaldevelopment. However, the teaching and researching based on the computer networkenvironment cannot meet the need of teachers on the front for teaching and researchactivity with high quality. The mobile communication network, relying on theadvantage of its larger space-time span, has become an important research direction ineducational field. The teaching and researching activity base on mobile terminal inrural area is a significant attempt to explore how to improve the teaching level forrural teacher under the background of new curriculum reform.In this thesis, based on the domestic and abroad research status and relied on theenvironment of mobile terminal, the construction of teaching and researching activityis discussed. Firstly, the author gains inspiration from the summarization of InformalLearning Theory, Activity Theory, Situated Learning Theory, Connectivism Theoryand Group Dynamics Theory as the theoretical reference for this thesis. Secondly, bythe analysis of mobile teaching and researching model, and on the basis of principleof creating an activity mode, the rudiment of the model of teaching and researchingactivity based on rural area is created. Thirdly, implement mobile teaching andresearching activities in three specific forms by using short messages and multimediamessages, instant communication software, and blog and forum and webpage as theinteractive platform, and simultaneously put this teaching and researching mode intospecific practice. Fourthly, the effectiveness of developing teaching and researchingactivity based on mobile terminal in rural area is demonstrated at practical level. Atthe end of this research, the author predicts the future research trend of this teachingand researching model.The construction of a mode of teaching and researching based on mobileterminal in rural area will establish a carry-on learning environment for ruralteachers, and contribute to achieve teaching resources sharing and teacher’sprofessional development improving.
