The Undergraduate tutorial system is the basis of the Oxford Universityundergraduate teaching, to cultivate independent thinking and critical questioning ofthe ability to effect significant. With the deepening reform of undergraduateeducation and teaching in China, in order to meet the needs of the development ofhigher education, to explore effective measures to improve the quality of personneltraining, many domestic universities pay attention for undergraduate tutorial system.It can be said, the implementation of the undergraduate tutor system has become amajor trend of the new era school teaching in colleges and universities.Implementation of undergraduate tutorial system is an inevitable requirement for theimplementation of individualized education, but also helps students to thinkindependently and rational thinking. Undergraduate tutorial system is compatiblewith the inherent philosophy of liberal education. This article is based on theconcept of liberal education, by Oxford University undergraduate tutorial system ofteaching philosophy, teaching practice in-depth thinking and comprehensiveanalysis and survey the status of implementation of a Faculty of Educationundergraduate tutorial system, combined with universities their own situation andput forward the appropriate strategy for the design undergraduate tutorial system.The full text is divided into five parts, the first part is an introduction, mainlyon the research background of this article the definition and related literature review,clarified the methods of the study; the second part of liberal education as thetheoretical basis of the undergraduate system analysis of the concept of liberaleducation, and Discrimination and the related theory of vocational education,general education, academic freedom, the analysis of the rationality of thetheoretical basis of liberal education; The third part is the Oxford Universityundergraduate tutorial system from concept practice, characteristics, and mode ofmulti-angle analysis, and summary and reflection; the fourth part describes thedevelopment of our undergraduate tutorial system and the implementation of themain mode, the status of implementation of a Faculty of Education undergraduatementor system questionnaire, observation and interview surveys, analysis ofexisting problems; fifth part is the goal of higher education as well as undergraduate tutorial system goals for the direction of University undergraduate tutorial systemdesign and management of undergraduate tutorial system ensuring that the proposedcorresponding countermeasures, in order to guide the implementation of the systemof college undergraduate instructors in practice.
