Syllabus is concentrated expression of teaching objectives,and guiding documentfor cultivating students in a school. Thus the adaptability of the syllabus, will directlyaffect the quality of student cultivating. Badminton Training Course in PhysicalEducation Undergraduate is one of the Special Courses. Its quality is an important factoraffecting the University and College Physical Education in Undergraduate TrainingObjectives. Physical Education undergraduate Badminton Training Syllabus is todevelop scientific and reasonable and meets the needs of the physical educationprofessional development goals,the achievement of the Physical Education of JiangsuProvince, some colleges and universities students training objectives, training gearedto the21st century qualified sports talent plays an important role.In this paper,literature reviewing, expert interviews,questionnaires, andmathematical statistics,logic analysis and other research methods,analysis of theJiangsu Province in Physical Education undergraduate Badminton Training status of thecourse syllabus. The results showed that:,Jiangsu Province,College of PhysicalEducation Professional Badminton Specialist Course syllabus, teaching contents andcurriculum goals consistent with the content set basically reflects the badminton sport to"healthy,life-long sports,and culture with ideological innovation ability can a specialcompound of Physical Education Personnel as the guiding ideology, in line with thenational physical education undergraduate training objectives;2, Jiangsu ProvinceUniversities Badminton Training hours total less than normal, there are somedifferences in the credits,hours amount,the reaction imbalance in the development ofthe Jiangsu Province Sports College Physical Education professional badminton course, this is because of differences in level of awareness of the school badminton specialistcourses, thus affecting the Badminton Training class teachers and students in thedegree of attention to special courses; Jiangsu Province College Physical EducationProfessional Badminton Training class teachers focus too much on technology, tacticalmastery, teaching, light weight technology theory,neglected the cultivation ofstudents’ capabilities; enough breadth and depth of theoretical knowledge of the studentbadminton special lack of practicality, students’ overall ability to be further improved;Badminton Training Curriculum Theory and Skill Evaluation method is relativelysimple, the assessment is not comprehensive enough; students to master generalbadminton technical level; professional knowledge, teaching and training capacity,research capacity social practice capacity, particularly innovation and ability to be tofurther improve;6badminton special courses selected textbooks of the unsatisfactory,there is no uniform written specializing in textbooks and school-based materials.Textbook research is not systematic, theoretical system can not keep up thedevelopment of the Jiangsu Higher Education Institutions of badminton.
