With the deepening of education reform, the increasing demands for studentsin high school language teaching humanistic spirit. High school language curriculumstandards also pointed out:"comprehensively improve the students ’cultural literacy, toplay the educational function of language courses, to promote students’ balanced andpersonality development..." It can be seen: the direction of language reform isconsistent with the requirements of the times for the advancement of the humanisticspirit.Teaching practice, explore and summarize, I believe that the human spirit in thehigh school language teaching is the student body formed by reflection on the basis ofcertain cultural knowledge accumulation and some real life experience, thoughts andfeelings. Specifically, the humanistic spirit is reflected in the following three aspects:Natural concern, to promote the harmonious development of man and nature; Thesecond pair of social concern, the status of people in social life, dignity and rights as aspiritual pursuit; The third concern, the life of right and wrong, aesthetic, sense ofjustice, responsibility, compassion and moral behavior of concern and the attitude taken.So, in teaching how to tap materials humanistic connotation that someone is how to usethese resources to students of the human spirit? The paper first lists the current status ofthe serious lack of high school language teaching in the humanistic spirit and analysis ofits causes, and then pointed out that culture in high school language teaching studentsthe practical significance of the human spirit, and finally the implementation ofstrategies that students in high school language teaching in the humanistic spirit. Detailsare as follows:Part Ⅰ: Analysis of high school language teaching. This article lists the current highschool language teaching medieval poetry, classical, essays, novels and other articlesgenre teaching situation, and to analyze the reasons for the above phenomenon from theevaluation of the current education system, teachers of the humanities and the students’utilitarian thought, we hope tothe majority of educators bring a little enlightenment.Part Ⅱ: the high school language teaching in the train students to the practicalsignificance of the human spirit. Market economic life, the psychological developmentof students’ needs nourishing the human spirit, people’s values tilt to balance the need tohumanistic spirit, healthy and orderly development of the socio-economic needsguaranteed by the humanistic spirit. So in every respect, to cultivate the spirit of thestudents of the humanities in high school language teaching have its necessity.Part Ⅲ: high school language teaching to foster the implementation of the strategy ofthe human spirit. In this paper, specific examples cited three strategies: improve theeducation evaluation system to improve the teachers of the humanities, to stimulatestudents’ interest in language.
