The university enrollment had increased largely since1999.The problem that university graduates had trouble in searching job become more and more obvious.The Party and the government attached great importance to this issue. So, it has not only theoretical but also practical significance to identify the factors that affect the employment of university graduates and put forward suggestions for promoting their employment. Therefore, this paper analyzed the influencing factors of university graduate employment. And it is hoped that the article can provide a new perspective in theoretical research of this problem and some actual revelations in solving the problem.Firstly, the paper analyzed university graduates’ employment rate and the change of their income, post and work nature from1999to2011. It is clear that the status of university graduates’ employment is not upbeat. The employment rates of graduates are low and have a continuously falling trend. At the same time, university graduates’ income decreased and the rate that they worked in main labor market dropped too.Secondly, the article argued the influence that the unreasonable educational division and applicability of human capital bring to university graduates’employment. It is concluded that the differences among educator, educational institution and educational behavioral had great influence on university graduates’employment. The different setting of discipline and professional also had influence on it. Another influencing factor of employment is amount of graduates’ human capital. The graduate who has more human capital can have more job opportunitiesFinally, it proposed some suggestions to promote the university graduates’ employment from the aspects of easing the unreasonable educational division improving the applicability of human capital and governments’ administration.
