Study On The Evaluating Index System Of The Employment Quality For College Graduates

On the“China Employment Forum” which jointly sponsored by the China Labor andSocial Security Ministry with the ILO in2004, to improve the quality of employment asan important goal of government have been proposed to for the first time—“Expanding the scale of employment and improving the quality of employment is theChinese government a long-term and urgent task”. The quality of employment hascaused a great deal of attention of the country. The college students, as a part ofthe talent of the country, are vital for Country’s economic development.The employmentsituation of this special group not only relate to the future fate of the individual, but alsorelate to the development of the country.But, recently, we can easily find many reports about the phenomenon of frequentlow salary, job-hopping, short-term contract of college graduates. With more and morethe problems of the employment quality of the college graduates, more and more schlarsfocus their attention on the quality of college graduates. In order to slove kinds of theproblems of the employment quality of the college graduates, So, we have to build anscientific and reliable evaluating index system to measure the employment quality first.Some domestic scholars have studyed on it, but studying in this field now is limitd andthe existing evaluation methods are not practical and feasible. Based on the study of theprevious, the writer build an evaluating index system to measure the employment quality.On the one hand, it can provide support for later study on the employment quality ofcollege graduates. On the other hand, it can provide help for the government and collegesto measure the employment quality.This thesis is divided into six parts. I described the research background and themeaning of the studying, indicated the researching objectives and the content. Then Iintroduced the summary of the relevant theory. In the third part, I told the function, thebasic principles, the research ideas and methods of the index system. In the fourth part,also the core of the thesis, I build the evaluating index system of the employment qualityfor college graduates. The evalution methods for the evaluating index system weredescribed in the fifth part. In the end of the thesis, I applyed the evaluating index systemin evaluating the salary, job stability, the matching extent of the posts of the collegegraduates and the college graduates who graduated in2009and2010.
