Nowdays, English has played an important role in our daily life. English is usedso widely that we can not live without it, just like we must live on the food. Theministry of education also early in January2001officially promulgated by theministry of education on promoting open primary school English curriculumguidelines, and clearly put forward that the basic goals of primary school English isthat: From the autumn of2001, both city and county primary schools gradually teachEnglish courses,and to the autumn of2002, the schools of villages and townsgradually open English courses. Generally primary schools open English courses ingrade three. However, it is reported that students in grade three have English booksbut no English course in rural schools. So what are the obstacles of Englishcurriculum implementation in the rural primary schools? How to decrease theobstacles? This article is based on English curriculum implementation in RiZhao ruralprimary schools. Discussing the situation of English curriculum implementation. Andanalyzes the achievements and the existing problems. In order to put forwards theimprovement measures, so as to better promote rural primary school Englisheducation development.This research process is mainly operated through the investigation and studyways, by using the methods of literature study, interviews, questionnaire, observation.In the process of reseaching, I interview some teachers of the selected schools. And Iuse the methods of document analysis, classroom observation to know more about thecourse operation, and try to grasp how the teacher implement the English courses. Inorder to best collect relevant implementing course information, I also usequestionnaire survey method. To collect the students’reaction and expectations of thecourse implementation. Specific research ideas as follows: in the Introduction part, Imainly describe the rural primary schools’English curriculum implementation,including the research origin, research value and significance, define the concept, andthe main research method the paper has taken. In the first chapter I mainly introducethe concept of curriculum implementation and rural primary school English curriculum implementation characteristics. In the second chapter, I investagate andanalyze the countryside elementary schools’English curriculum implementationsituation, focusing on the following problems: The school English teachers teamconstruction condition, the school teaching hardware facilities condition, the schoolEnglish classroom teaching situation, the headmaster’s curriculum leadership status,and students’ English learning situation. In the third chapter: It is based on the surveyof the rural primary school English curriculum implementation, I analyze theproblems of rural primary school English curriculum implementation. In the fourthchapter: With the above theory as the guide, reflect the rural primary school Englishcourse implementation, and then I put forward the measures for current rural Englishcurriculum implementation, seeking for the improvement methods.
