The information society asks information literacy of citizens for afurther enhancement.As an compulsory course of ordinary high school,information technology in relations to the information literacy of the highschool student, and to learn information technology well has vital significanceto improve the national curriculum information literacy. But, currentinformation technique teaching in senior high school still with traditionalteaching mode which can’t bring student’s enthusiasm for study admirably,and it’s not good for the improvement of students’ information literacy. InSeptember2009, The Inner Mongolia followed the national curriculumreform tide began to implement high school curriculum reform experimentthroughout the province, and information technology curriculum reform waspart of it. To reform education teaching methods and explore the informationtechnology teaching form and methods which are suitable for the area hasimportant practical significance.Since the greater discrepancy of the studentswho are in senior one in information technology, the study mainly appliedlayered teaching.Questionnaire had been taken toward students who just entered school insenior one in order to find out their base in information technology. The studyis trying to find a method to teaching and learning which is suitable for localinformation technology teaching in senior high school and is good for theenhancement in information literacy of all students in teaching practice bycombining Layered teaching,Modern teaching methods and the specificrequirements of the new curriculum reform.This study analyzed a lot oflayered teaching literature and expatiated on the basic logos and standard ofinformation technology new course in the common senior highschool,investigated and analyzed the beginning level of students in information technology,combined layered teaching with autonomous,cooperative, exploratory method, took actionthrough practice-rethinking-improvement-practice again to carry on thepractice research,trying to find a method which is suitable for localinformation technology teaching in senior high school and is good for theenhancement in information literacy of all students.This paper is divided into six chapters: the first chapter discussed thebackground,purpose, significance and methods of the study, and discusses theresearch status at home and abroad. Chapter II summarized the layeredteaching, including the connotation, theoretical basis and generalorganizational forms of layered teaching. Chapter III demonstrated thefeasibility to apply layered teaching into information technology in thecommon senior high school, including traditional teaching situation ininformation technology teaching, the results and analysis of the survey aboutthe students’ beginning level in information technology.Chapter IV discussedthe key influencing factor that should be considered when apply the layeredteaching to the information technology teaching. Chapter V gave the actionresearchand teaching examples of layered teaching and discussed research findings.Chapter VI, the last chapter, generalized the study, gave the results,limitations and prospects of the study.
