Research On The Cultivation Model Of American M.Ed

In the complex international context of the21st century, increasinglyfierce competition between the countries all over the world, its essence inthe final analysis is the competition for talent. Education is thefundamental way to cultivate talent, postgraduate education is the highestlevel in the structure of China, as well as the highest stage of the talenttraining system, it bears the important task of cultivating high-qualitycompound talents. Today, the traditional single academic degree andcultivation model has been unable to meet the needs of socialdevelopment in China, professional degree postgraduate education aroseat the historic moment, M.Ed (Master of Education) is the most typicalrepresentative of the professional master’s degree in China. In the processof development of the M.Ed in China, many significant results have beenachieved, a certain amount of experiences have been accumulated, butthere are still many deficiencies, therefore we should learn the excellentexperiences from other countries. The United States is the education powerhouse of the world, knows how to cultivate the M.Ed very well.This paper in-depth study about the cultivation model of American M.Ed,in order to provide practical experiences and theoretical support for thecultivation of the M.Ed in China.The research methods of this paper are literature research, caseanalysis and comparative study. The research content mainly consists offive parts. The first part is the Introduction, the content includes the originand significance of the topics, research status, the core definition,research ideas and research methods. The second part to trace the historyof American M.Ed. The third part, use the case analysis method to studythe process of American M.Ed. The fourth part summarizes thecharacteristics and problems of American M.Ed. The fifth part discussesthe enlightenments of the cultivation of American M.Ed.
