With the development of higher education, China’s higher education theory and practice research have started to think carefully about how to ensure the quality of education, China’s program evaluation activities is one of the key el ements. It is treated as a comprehensive health check for the program of highe r education. through the hiring of internal and external academics, professional academic standards and academic learning outcomes were assessed in order to improve the quality of education.In recent years, with the rise of a type of higher education in the Popul arization of Higher Education, Technical undergraduate colleges is engaged in t he undergraduate level technical education. within the program evaluation of th e first stage of enlightenment, the theory of program evaluation,the program in dex system, and system construction for the technical undergraduate colleges ne ed to be improved. In addition, with the work of program evaluation carried o ut in an orderly manner, some of the deeper issues come across:what is the r eal purpose of the the technology undergraduate colleges’ program evaluation? What is the difference between this evaluation with the others? how to reflect these differences in the program evaluation index system? In this thesis, techni cal undergraduate colleges is different from the general undergraduate colleges and require the establishment of a targeted engineering program evaluation inde x system. For the basic assumptions and the premise, this paper tries to exami ne the international representative engineering theory and practice of program e valuation,analysis problems of technical undergraduate colleges’ engineering pro gram evaluation index system, summarize the advantages and disadvantages of existing program evaluation index system.based on research with a certain fea sibility of the reasonableness of the technical undergraduate colleges engineerin g program evaluation index system, to improve our technical undergraduate coll ege engineering program evaluation index system, in order to improve the qual ity of technical undergraduate education. The thesis includes four chapters: Chapter1:Introduction. This chapter introduces the origin, meaning, clarity object and scope of the study, defined the concept of technical undergraduate education, program evaluation index system,make a literature review on the d omestic and international engineering program evaluation theory and practice, to determine the research program, make a summary of the research’s innovation and shortcomings.Chapter2:This chapter focus on the situation and problems of domestic te chnology undergraduate college’s engineering program evaluation index system. Through analyzing the engineering education accreditation index system, the lev el of undergraduate education evaluation index system-program construction co mponent and Shanghai excellent program election evaluation index system for colleges and universities(for trial implementation) and other domestic engineerin g program evaluation index system,research the necessity of technical undergrad uate colleges program evaluation index system and make a comparative analysi s of the current situation of China’s engineering program evaluation index syste m from a view of the practical significance.Chapter3:This chapter focus on an international comparative analysis of t he engineering program evaluation index system. By a international comparison of engineering program evaluation index system, demonstrate the need for pro fessional evaluation index system of technical undergraduate colleges, analyze a nd summarize the trend of engineering program evaluation index system.Chapter4:This chapter focus on the design process of technical undergrad uate college engineering program evaluation index system. Start from the backg round of The program evaluation index system of technical undergraduate colle ges, according to the index system construction principles, ideas, and special re quirements, analysis and study, based on a integrated use of literature researc h,, Delphi method and other research methods to determine the core elements of the program evaluation index system of technical undergraduate colleges, s o as to establish the framework of the technical undergraduate colleges enginee ring program evaluation index system. Conclusion:Based on the summary of the four chapters of the study, this conclusion focus on a summary and reflection of main viewpoints and proble ms in the course of this study, and research Prospects.
