At present there are many problems in the moral education for middle school students, for example, teachers often instil good moral principles in advance into students. Kohlberg’s moral cognitive development theory is based on the scientific method, in view of the "indoctrination" type of moral education. Moral cognition development theory with the eye to moral judgment on stage, by promoting cognitive development for moral education, has the important guiding significance for the practice of moral educationKohlberg believes that there are laws in the people’s moral cognition development, in order, after three levels, and each level includes two phases; Conditions of moral development of children’s moral cognition development and opportunity to assume certain social role "bear"; Between cognitive development and "role taking chance" is connected with each other, promoted each other. On the basis of moral cognitive development theory, Kohlberg "moral discussion method" is proposed, and supplemented by "fair organization law",and he applys them in moral education.Moral discussion method, this paper, which uses "heinz steal drugs""dilemma story", and combined with using the method of written conversation to discuss moral experiment, in order to found that middle school students’ moral development stage. During experimental process, the different students with different opinions on different issues and moral conflict, both reflect the different stages of students’ moral cognition, also inspire high school students to the moral issues of deep thinking and communication, promote the improvement of the level of middle school students’ moral cognition.The main findings of this paper is:there are different middle school students’ moral cognition levels of the present between different age, the old students’ moral cognition ability is significantly higher than the younger students moral cognitive ability; Moral cognition has trend from heteronomy to autonomy, external consequences to intrinsic motivation, from "reasonable" to "reasonable"; Between boys and girls of the same age, the boy’s moral orientation primarily laws and social rules, while girls prefer emotion.According to experimental results, this paper puts forward some Suggestions for the methods of moral education of middle school students:fully aware of the moral cognition development stage of middle school students, in a hierarchical education is an effective way to moral education; Start a new moral evaluation mechanism; Use the "hidden curriculum" of moral education, etc.
