To ensure the healthy operation of the housing market and make up for the housing problems of market failure as well as maintaining social stability.With the house price goes up high in the county, the purchasing power of residents of real estate is grossly inadequate. The increasing demand of low-rent housing makes the government to speed up the solution process the of low-income families’housing difficulties. Large scale low-rent houses are being constructed nationwide. China’s low-rent housing system is not mature enough, resulting in variety of problems during the operation of low-rent housing system. Guangzhou is one of pioneers in low-rent housing construction. Guangzhou has met a lot of problems such as the inadequate of laws and regulations, unstable funding sources, the construction of low-rent housing lack of planning, the lag of low-rent housing management and maintenance. The paper studied the development and current status of the low-rent housing system in Guangzhou, point out the problems of low-rent housing implementation, and trying to put forward some suggestions by reference to the low-rent housing experience of other countries and regions. |
