In the context of knowledge-based economy, competency-based human resourcemanagement has become one of the most important trends in modern human resourcemanagement. As the main channel of gaining talents, recruitment has been more andmore importance in enterprises. This Paper Proposes that integrating competency modelwith the recruitment progress to facilitate the application of the competency theory intothe recruitment for Chinese enterprises.This paper discusses the combination of the competency model and humanresource recruitment system for Chinese enterprises,and tries to build a corporaterecruitment system based on competency model. Firstly, this paper reviews domesticand foreign academic competency model, details the competence, the definitions、types and construction of competency model. Then,this paper explores the feasibility ofapplying the competency model into the traditional business recruitment system by thecombination with the introduction of the theory of the recruitment and the comparisonbetween the corporate recruitment system based on the competency model and thetraditional corporate recruitment system.On the basis of the above study, this paper proposes the corporate recruitmentsystem based on competency model which includes the main characteristics and theprocess of this recruitment system, and discusses the recruitment system in therecruitment,selection,the interviewing and hiring and evaluation. Finally,this paperanalysis procedures and methods applied in practice-based competency model ofcorporate recruitment system through business case studies.
