The Study Of Industrial Structure Adjustment And Energy Consumption Of Zhejiang Province

Energy is an import material basis of the social and economic development, which also ensures historical progress, social development and living standards improvement. Zhejiang province is developed province with huge energy consumption but poor energy resource, which economic development is restricted by the contradiction between the energy supply and demand. Economic development is represented by major industrial increase and their respective proportion of GDP. Thus to study the relationship between industrial structure adjustment and energy consumption of Zhejiang Province, has a great significance for predicting the future energy consumption, making energy development strategies, and optimizing the industrial structure and so on.In this paper, industrial adjustment and energy consumption of Zhejiang Province are analyzed by qualitative and quantitative on the basis of domestic and foreign literature. The empirical research study their relationship from four aspects: the industrial structure adjustment and total energy consumption, of industrial structure adjustment and energy consumption structure, industrial structure adjustment and energy consumption intensity, industrial structure adjustment and energy consumption elasticity by quantitative methods which conclude gray theory, matrix analysis, factor decomposition model. The direction and intensity of industrial structure to energy consumption are clarified to deepen people’s awareness of this issue. And then effective policy suggestions are provided to adjust the industrial structure and control the major energy consumption to promote economic development more continually, stably and healthily.
